Montan to highlight special waxes at CHINAPLAS 2016

Montan waxes are used as high performance additives in the plastics industry, due to their unique properties. They serve as combined external and internal lubricants and nucleation additives in many types of engineering plastics and processing methods. Partially saponified montan wax esters are suitable dispersion agents for color masterbatches and also for filled polymers, e.g.: talcum filled PP, fiber glass filled PBT, PA, PC.

Montan waxes are particularly valued for new, technically demanding tasks when it comes to special requirements in terms of the performance of a high performance lubricant. Particularly suitable for engineering plastics: WARADUR® E, WARADUR® OP.

The general advantages of these waxes are: ideal for highly demanding plastics applications; improvement of processing and end product properties; internal lubrication, improves flow properties; external lubrication, improves mold release; no-blooming or exudation; and improvement of pigment / filler dispersion
